The Dream Builders Project is a strong advocate of human rights – believing that it is every person’s basic right to have freedom, shelter, food to eat, and medical assistance as needed. In 2015, The Dream Builders Project began its first International Anti-Human Trafficking Campaign to raise awareness about modern day slavery and the traumatic, lifelong effect it has on its survivors. The Dream Builders Project has partnered with the Los Angeles Police Department to better educate the public on human trafficking with an emphasis on prevention.
The Dream Builders Project assists the LAPD by providing supplies for rescued victims, sponsoring conferences to support the facilitation of rescue missions and more.

The Dream Builders Project sponsored the LAPD’s Operation Conference. Our founder, Mayer Dahan, attended the conference to thank LAPD for their continued efforts and to speak about The Dream Builders Project. The operation focused on rescuing victims of sexual slavery and human trafficking, identifying their captors, and seeking successful prosecutions.

The Dream Builders Project kicked off its Act Against Human Trafficking Campaign with a “Not for Sale” Photoshoot. Over 15 models, more than 12 production staff members, and Son’s of Anarchy star, Kristen Renton, donated their time to be a part of the photoshoot. Each model had a “Not for Sale” barcode painted onto their skin to raise awareness towards anti-human trafficking. A special thank you to 838 Media Group, Liquid Skin, Pollini Productions, and DDR F&M Productions.

care packages 11/9/16
The Dream Builders Project assembled over 50 care packages for those affected by human trafficking. The bags were filled with some essentials including shampoo, conditioner, beauty products, socks, sunscreen, sunglasses, water and more! The care packages were given to LAPD officers, who keep them in the squad cars to distribute throughout Los Angeles where they see fit.
